Cole Clark Guitars from Melbourne, Australia. Using indigenous & sustainable yield woods, combined with totally unique looks & design, Cole Clark has created a guitar that will appeal to the performing musician. Fast & comfortable necks, excellent acoustic characteristics & a proprietary pickup system that is awesome. Not like anything you've experienced before, visit the Cole Clark website & discover how the Face Brace Sensor Pickup works then come into Guitar Tex to hear it in person.
The FAT LADY sings! We just got in a Fat Lady 3A for those who have queried about their top-of-the-line acoustic. Bunya top/Indian rosewood back & sides, awesome abalone inlays that have to be seen to be appreciated. Here's a dreadnought that is so not like any other you've tried that, well you simply have to try it. $2,395.00 SOLD!
UKELADY 2 is a wonderful tenor ukulele that will hold its' own with the great ukuleles of the world & go the extra mile when she's plugged in. Rechargeable active pickup system means you'll never need a battery. Solid Tasmanian Blackwood/Indian rosewood. $955.00
Cole Clark Electrics are here! Like their acoustic guitars, lap steels, & ukuleles they start with a classic shape & idea then give it a unique spin. Dig the Paul Bigsby inspired headstock for starters, handsomely sculpted, on an extremely comfortable neck. Flawless fret work on a 12" radius board. The semi-hollow bodies are internally carved from one piece of native Australian, sustainable yield wood rather than with a glued-in block. There are several other features that make these guitars unique & useful, including the hand wound Cole-Clark pickups, Wilkinson hardware & Grover tuners, but we'd like to invite you to come in & try one. The consensus so far is a resounding thumbs up. Players are intially struck by the lightness of the guitar. Strum an unplugged chord & run a few arpeggios & it becomes instantly apparent that this is something special, the likes of which hasn't been seen before. Plug one in & the pickups have a sparkle & chime like the great vintage pickups but a voice of its' own. The Hollow Baby in the middle is made from Australian bunya wood, which is light but very stiff. The Culprit model on the left is made of Queensland maple capped with Tasmanian blackwood (very similar to koa) on the top & also used for the neck for a really cool look & nice feel.
