We carry a fair amount of instructional material for the kind of instruments we sell. We have books for acoustic & electric guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, bass, autoharp, etc.

We have books, book/CDs, & DVDs

 We just got the eMedia "essentials series" which is a good way to start as they cover the basics and have the additional advantage of having a "Spanish" channel for those looking for something "en espanol".

We also have some style specific material for blues, bluegrass, rock, jazz, etc

What we don't have is a lot of songbooks for various bands & such. The popular titles simply change too frequently to try to be current.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 A A couple product lines worthy of mention are the GUITAR FROM SCRATCH and SKEPTICAL GUITARIST series by Bruce Emery and The WATCH & LEARN series by Bert Casey. GUITAR FROM SCRATCH is extremely clear & well written offering audio samples of most titles on the internet, as does the SKEPTICAL GUITARIST, which is theory for guitarists. The WATCH & LEARN series provides the fundamentals for many different instruments including acoustic and electric guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, & ukulele.  These are titles we buy directly from the source & not through a big distributor. It was good having a discussion with Bruce Emery about what he might consider for ukulele instructional material.
